We package up a lot of useful features as standard with all our Drupal installations.

These features don't all come standard with Drupal. We've added many that we think are must-haves. Here they are:

Content management facilities
This one's kind of obvious but nevertheless important. You get to create/delete/change content on your website, including creating new pages, adding blocks to the sidebar, adding menu items, etc.
Menu system with unlimited items
You can position new pages anywhere in the menu system or have menu items that point to pages outside the site.
WYSIWYG editor
A word processor style content editor, with buttons for bold, underline, indent, bullet point, etc.
Image upload and inclusion facility
You can upload images to your site and even resize them.
File attachment facility
Lets you upload files to your website, attached to content so that a handy link is displayed to download or view each file.
User comments
If you wish, you can open your content to comments from registered users or even from the public. Includes a moderation phase if you want to check the comments before they are posted.
Polls
A really easy way to get people's opinions, a poll collects one multiple choice answer from each user. Again, you can limit this to registered users or open it to the public.
Blogs
Each registered user, or selected registered users, can have their own blog page.
Forums
Places for people to discuss issues. You can have as many forums as you like, and each forum can have as many discussions as you like. As with comments and polls, you may choose to moderate posts.
Contact forms
Using a contact form is the most secure way to protect your email address from spam because no-one ever gets to see it. Each registered user can have their own contact form in addition to the generic site contact form, which routes enquiries to multiple recipients using categories.
Content search
All content is indexed automatically so it can be found by the site search facility. Easy!
User login
Having a user log in means you can identify them and they can access the parts of your site you want them to (see role-based security below).
Role based security
Each user can be assigned one or more roles. Roles are granted permissions on your site. This gives you an extremely powerful way to control who can do and see what on your website.
Content classification
Content can be classified in multiple ways so that your users have the best opportunity to find what they're looking for. For example, you could make a page available through the menu system and through a tag cloud.
Automatic email address protection
Don't worry about typing email addresses straight into a page. It gets protected from spam bots automatically.
Automatic conversion of web addresses to links
Just like you're used to in your favourite word processor.
