If the popup window does not appear, check that you have enabled popups in your browser. With your mouse positioned at the point in the text at which you wish the image to appear, click on the image assist icon. This triggers a popup window which shows all the images to which you have access.
Select image
Select the image you require by double clicking its thumbnail in the popup window OR
upload a new image:
Uploading a new image
If you have the permission 'access all images', the select list at the top will allow you to browse and choose content items that have been created by other users as well as your own images.
When you click the 'Upload' button you will be presented with a long list of options. All you need to do is:
Enter a title. This title (and any description you choose to enter) will be associated with your image if it is promoted to the front page.
Browse and select the image you want.
After you've done that, scroll down this box and click 'Submit'. This image is now stored as a content item.
Describe & Specify
The screen below will now be displayed, allowing you to specify additional options for how the image will appear on your page.
The main options you will need are:
The title appears underneath the image. Once submitted it will also appear when hovering over the image. For this reason don't make it too long, as it will only appear for a couple seconds. The title by which it is stored appears automatically, but you can change this if you wish.
The image size is the actual size it appears on the page. Even though you can resize your image by clicking and dragging when you are in edit mode, it is neater to change the image size here as it keeps the sizes of your various images more uniform. Additional sizes can be added at:
Administer > Site configuration > Image
Access to this is dependent on your permissions. Ask the Super Administrator to set these if you have problems.
Your Alignment choice is 'left' 'right' or 'centre'.
Other options are not usually required.
Click 'Insert' once this is complete.
Submit
Submit your changes by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking 'Submit'.
Deleting an image from a page does not delete it from storage on the server.Deleting an image from a page:
go to edit mode on your page;
click on the image in the body box, so it is highlighted;
click the 'delete' key on your keyboard;
Submit your page changes.
Change an image by deleting the original and repeating the image insertion process.
